In satisfying one of CHASA’s strategic objectives we offer the 2022 CHASA Junior Hunter/Mentor Hunting Competition, which is a hunting story and photo-based lucky draw. This competition is to give more attention to attracting junior hunters, as well as to expose them to local hunting associations and the associations hunting activities.
The CHASA Board offers the CHASA Junior Hunter/Mentor Hunting Photo Lucky Draw for 2022 with the rules and information as follows:
A hunting photo and short story of the hunting experience must be submitted.
The hunting photo must show the junior with the animal that they hunted (it must not be shot by the Mentor).
Hunting photos and stories of the 2022 Hunting Season qualify.
The photo should show the junior hunter and his mentor, although a junior alone is also acceptable.
The image and story must be emailed to the CHASA Office at the following email address: manager@chasa.co.za
The photo and story must however be accompanied by: a). A letter from the landowner confirming the place and date of the hunt; and b). A certified copy of a birth certificate
The quality of the photo shall not form the criteria to qualify, and the winner will be determined by means of a lucky draw.
The prize is an amount in cash as annually determined by the Board.
The closing date for the entries is 31 August 2022.
The draw will take place during the September 2022 Board Meeting.
CHASA reserves the right to use the photo and the story for their promotional purposes, thus the parents/legal guardian must give written permission for the use of the image and story along with the entry.
The Judges' decision is final.
